'Paradiso' EP sees Yann Polewka return to GLBDOM with a refined and emotive three-track release, blending classic house sensibilities with a modern, dancefloor-focused touch.
The title track 'Paradiso' opens proceedings with a driving, syncopated beat and a bouncy, uplifting bassline, gradually unfolding into a euphoric arrangement of chords and pads. As the track progresses, gorgeous piano lines come to the fore, adding a warm and soulful edge to an already uplifting cut.
Next up is 'U Can't Feel It', a deeper affair built around super-deep house pads and a stomping, club-ready beat. Luscious piano motifs are cleverly interspersed with short, catchy xylophone riffs, while beautiful vocal refrains drift throughout, giving the track a rich and immersive feel.
Rounding things off is Jesse Bru's remix of 'Paradiso', offering a pleasing yet slightly heavier reinterpretation of the original.
