Deborah Aime La Baggare joins the family on our Killer Cuts series with his first ever vinyl release: an uplifting house EP which captures the euphoria defining a post-COVID musical landscape. Did someone say 'Summer of Love?' 'Daily Routine' is so nice, it's in here thrice. In its original form, it has all the elements to make you move: rhythmic vocal chops, an anthemic piano melody and an epic breakdown which leads onto an acid interlude. Its funk elements are later teased out by SNF family member THEOS before Lobster Theremin boss Asquith picks up the pace with a storming breaks remix. 'Speed Dating' and 'Nuque Docile' maintain the energy, the latter adding diva-esque vocals and record scratches, whilst the super sexy, downtempo 'Balade Hexagonale' strips things right back and invites you to indulge.
