This compilation is another quality collection of 'house' music reflecting on the year that has been. There is no denying that 2021 was weird. Melbourne folk were subject to lockdowns with a 9pm curfew, and like many other parts of the world, live music was put on hold indefinitely. Considering that our first annual compilation 'Locked in the House' focussed on the themes of 2021, it felt only right that our second compilation did the same. From this, 'Home by 909' was born. At love Above Records HQ we have always strived to create a community of like minded house-music heads. This year's compilation will not disappoint. We have cast our net far and wide, and have managed to compile a monster 20-track release clocking in at just under 2 hours of listening. Home by 909 warms up with lush soundscapes before entering into deep house cuts and ending in complete dance floor territory. This compilation rewards those who are committed.
