Release notes
Distance can mean losing someone, but it can also mean giving yourself the space to become someone new. Distance connects these two ideas through music: the emotional process of moving on after a relationship ends, and the creative process of taking time to develop your own sound. Across Distance (Original Mix) and Take Some Time, Groovy Cat explores how separation, patience and time can become part of the process of transformation. Remixes by Novelo and Jan.dro extend that idea by allowing the same musical starting point to evolve through different perspectives.
