Sidney Charles welcomes Aron Volta to his influential imprint Heavy House Society, with the Dutchman in fine fashion as he unleashes his 'Sleeper Cell EP' Aron Volta came flying from relative anonymity in 2019 when he became one of the bestselling deep house artists seemingly overnight through his releases on prominent Dutch label PIV, with further releases dropping on similarly popular labels within the scene such as Airtime, Key Records and more. He has collaborated with and remixed the likes of Prunk, DJ Steaw, and DeMarzo with support for his music coming from Chris Stussy, Kevin Yost, Dam Swindle, and Sidney Charles to name just a few. First out of the box is the lead and title track 'Sleeper Cell'; a delightful dream-like groove is the basis of this track, yet Volta adds plenty of punch from the beats to ensure everyone is moving. It's light and refreshing feel is perfect as we head towards Spring and the days get longer and warmer. Up next is 'Gin Fizz' the perfect tonic, which lifts you out of your seat and onto a dance floor to enjoy an uplifting and well produced emotive journey. This is very classy indeed. Last but certainly not least is 'Breathless', an elegant and tasteful bassline groover that leaves you smiling as the hypnotic rhythm elevates your mood and leaves you wanting more.
